Market Opens

The team at RBC iShares, led by Mark Neill, Managing Director and Head of RBC ETFs & Strategic Alliances at RBC Global Asset Management Inc., and Helen Hayes, Head of iShares Canada, BlackRock, joined Graham Mackenzie, Managing Director, Exchange Traded Products, Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), to close the market and celebrate the launch of six RBC Target Maturity U.S. Corporate Bond ETFs, as well as RBC Target 2030 Canadian Government Bond ETF and RBC Target 2030 Canadian Corporate Bond Index ETF. These eight new ETFs will be managed by RBC Global Asset Management Inc. RBC Global Asset Management launched Canada’s first suite of Target Maturity Bond ETFs in 2011, and since their inception, they have grown to over $3 billion in assets. With the introduction of these eight new solutions, RBC iShares is expanding one of its most popular and innovative suites of ETFs.

(“Global X”), Stephanie Wolfe, EVP Marketing, Global X, and their team joined Graham Mackenzie, Managing Director, Exchange Traded Products, Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), to open the market and celebrate the launch of Global X (formerly Horizons ETFs). John Pagliacci, Vice President Investment Programs and National Accounts, Guardian Capital LP, and his team joined Graham Mackenzie, Managing Director, Exchange Traded Products, Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), to open the market and celebrate the launch of the ETF units of Guardian Investment Grade Corporate Bond Fund (TSX: GIGC). GIGC is designed to provide investors with a higher level of income by investing primarily in mid-term investment grade corporate bonds. The Fund’s portfolio management team uses a pro-active, disciplined management approach while employing proprietary analytical tools to identify corporate bond investments that offer value on a relative basis with a view to maximizing current income. Guardian Capital LP is the manager and portfolio manager of the Guardian Capital Funds and Guardian Capital ETFs, and also manages portfolios for institutional clients such as defined benefit and defined contribution pension plans, insurance companies, foundations, endowments and investment funds.

Louis-Pierre Gignac, President and Chief Executive Officer, G Mining Ventures Corp (the "Company") (TSX: GMIN), and his team joined Robert Peterman, Chief Commercial Officer, Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), to open the market and celebrate the Company’s graduation to TSX.
